Is it ok to take a painkiller every day

No. Taking painkillers daily or most days can cause a new problem: medication-overuse headache, where the body gets used to the pain relief and the pain returns when it wears off. If you need something more than about twice a week, that is a reason to see someone rather than to keep taking more.

Can i take painkillers without asking

Paracetamol and ibuprofen are available over the counter in most countries and are commonly used for period pain, headaches and minor injuries. But follow the packet dose, do not combine products with the same active ingredient, and ask a pharmacist if you are pregnant, on other medication, or have a stomach ulcer, kidney problem or asthma.

Why are online health tips wrong so often

Because engagement and health advice are not the same thing. Content that provokes fear or promises a quick fix gets shared, and there is no feedback loop for the claims that quietly do nothing. Checking whether a claim names an organisation, a date and a source is a fast way to sort it.
