Periods
My periods are really heavy?
Heavy bleeding is measured practically: needing to change a pad or tampon every hour for several hours, passing clots, or soaking through to your clothes. That is worth having assessed, because it is treatable and it can cause anaemia. It is not a thing to simply manage with a bigger product.
What this does and does not tell you
This is general information, not a diagnosis. Only a clinician can examine you, take your history and run tests. The same symptom has different causes in different people.
If something is sudden, severe, or getting worse quickly, get medical advice rather than reading on.
